Ceramic Brooch - Dog

Description: This dog shaped brooch is cut out by hand from rolled out sheets of off-white earthenware clay. When the clay is leather hard the designs are carved in. Stamps are then used for little details. Once bisque fired, the brooch is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. 

• The clasp on the back allows the brooch to be easily attached to any item of clothing like a coat, sweater, scarf, or to decorate a hat, beret, or a favourite bag or backpack ...
